LION DANCE
CULTURE, COMMUNITY, TRADITION.
Lion Dance is a colourful part of Chinese culture and martial arts. Traditionally, the Lion was thought to be sent by the Gods to bring good luck and prosperity wherever it goes. Lion Dance is based on Kung Fu techniques and movements, and always tells a story. Our school practices and performs both Traditional Fut San and Hok San lion dance.

The All Masters Lion Dance Team performs frequently at weddings, grand openings, Lunar New Year celebrations, and community events such as Carassauga. In previous years, our team has performed at the CNE, Roy Thompson Hall, Massey Hall, CHIN Picnic, and the Rogers Centre. We have also performed for Queen Elizabeth the II in 1992, and with Jackie Chan in 2001.

All Masters students are welcome to be a part of our team free of charge.
